STUDIO 47 is an artist-run space initiated by Céline Manz in 2014. Formerly located in the old city center of Amsterdam, STUDIO 47 functioned as an experimental platform for artists and researchers alike. STUDIO 47 offered room for temporary occupations such as short-term residencies, pop-up exhibitions, work in progress presentations, lectures and performances. Since the closure of the location at the Kloveniersburgwal 47 the initiative continues sporadically in a nomadic format.

STUDIO 47 PRESS is the publishing platform of STUDIO 47 dedicated to multiples and small editions.

STUDIO 47 was first made possible thanks to the 3Package Deal, a program initiated by the Amsterdam Fund for the arts (AFK) and Bureau Broedplaatsen.
